Sr. Maria Guadalupe began as Principal at St. Isaac Jogues in 2021.
Sister earned her B.A. with a double-major in English and French Studies at Fordham University in New York. After entering religious life, Sr. Maria Guadalupe obtained Post-Baccalaureate Education Certification from Eastern Michigan University and an M.Ed. in Educational Administration at the University of Southern Mississippi. She is currently working on a Masters in Theology from Providence College. Sister has taught at the middle school and high school levels in Michigan and Texas, has served as an elementary school principal in Plymouth, MI, and as a librarian at the Pontifical North American College in Rome. Most recently, she was teaching high school theology in Houston, Texas.
Sister Maria Guadalupe has been a Dominican Sister of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist since 2001, and made her Final Vows in 2009. She grew up in the Boston area, and is a fan of baseball, nature, and counted cross-stitching. Sr. Maria Guadalupe is passionate about Catholic education, and is thrilled to have joined the St. Isaac Jogues community.
