Sr. Mary Bernard Palmer, OP

Sister Mary Bernard has been teaching at Saint Isaac Jogues since 2023. Sister teaches Mathematics in the SIJ Middle School and serves in 5th grade teaching Math, Religion, and Social Studies.  

Sr. Mary Bernard obtained a Bachelor of Science in Education at Eastern Michigan University, with a Mathematics endorsement. She is currently working on a master's in theology at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary. 

Sister entered the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist in 2012 and made her final vows in 2020. She is native of Virginia. Sister enjoys spending time outdoors, playing pickleball, and enjoying time with her religious sisters. She remains enthusiastic about being part of the SIJ team and giving witness to the gospel in the AOD.
