She led several Kairos Retreats for adults and took the role of retreat director in many of the retreats.
In her free time Ms. Kizy likes to cook, bake and color. She volunteers with many community programs. She has participated and been a leader with other programs in the community including a deaf bible study where she worked with a sign language interpreter to bring faith and compassion to a community that is often forgotten. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and outdoor activities.
Through her own healing and years of experience with helping people she serves, Ms. Kizy recognizes that emotional healing is a part of a much bigger process and requires a balance of mind and spirit. In order for the mind to heal, the spirit has to find a willingness to work.
