Claire Spisak began teaching at St. Isaac Jogues in 2024. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and Vocal Performance from Oakland University. There, she was able to perform in a few operas, travel Europe in a performance tour, and even sing backup to the Rolling Stones.
Mrs. Spisak taught Theology and Music at Cardinal Mooney High School in Marine City for six years prior to starting at SIJ. She has been director of Joyful Noise Children's Choir at St. Isidore Parish in Macomb for eight years, and she has directed the annual Spring Musical at Immaculate Conception in Ira since 2018.
When not teaching or directing, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband, camping her way across the United States, boating on Higgins Lake, and singing in various ensembles.
